Webtec is a privately owned manufacturing SME with 50 employees. We design and manufacture hydraulic components and innovative hydraulic test equipment for mobile, industrial and agricultural machinery. Our products are manufactured in the UK and marketed worldwide. We are looking for suitable candidates to fill the following positions: PACKER / STORESPERSON This position involves packing finished products and preparing associated documentation ready for worldwide distribution, booking in of goods received from suppliers and managing the stores area. Some lifting and manual handling will be required. The successful candidate will be a quick learner able to work on their own initiative, have good computer skills, be organised and tidy and help out in other areas of production when required. The possession of a Fork Lift Truck licence would be an advantage. SERVICE TECHNICIAN We are looking for a candidate with good mechanical skills to join a small team in repairing and recalibrating our hydraulic test equipment. The successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and be computer literate. A good knowledge of electronics and experience in a similar environment would be an advantage. Initial training will be given in our assembly department to gain product knowledge. ASSEMBLERS / TESTERS This position involves the assembly and test of hydraulic components and electro-mechanical test equipment. Some lifting and manual handling will be required. Candidates should have good mechanical aptitude and be computer literate. Some knowledge of electronics, a basic engineering qualification or similar previous experience would be an advantage.
Our working hours are 8.30am to 5.30pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8.30am to 4.30pm (Friday).
