The
new CT range of flow meters make continuous monitoring easy for industrial
applications.
Building on the existing range of precision turbine flow meters, the CT range offer a conditioned analogue output that is easy to connect into your existing data acquisition system, PLC or digital readout. They lend themselves to condition monitoring hydraulic systems, especially where the flow meter is a long way from the readout. Typical applications include monitoring large fixed hydraulic installations, hydraulic test stands or hydraulic power packs and the flow meters can be used on the pressure or the tank line. The CT range for industrial use is available with either 0 - 5V or 4 - 20 mA output. The flow meters cover the range 1 - 800 lpm (0.25 210 US gpm) and offer a linear output that is easy to scale. The built-in electronics ensure the flow meters offer unparalleled accuracy of 1% of indicated reading over a very wide flow range. The CTR series of flow meters include a built-in loading valve to enable fast testing of hydraulic systems by manually controlling the pressure. Please see the technical bulletins below for further information. Launching
at the same time is the TP125 temperature sensor also available with 0
- 5V or 4 - 20 mA output. The TP125 is unusual as it combines a high pressure
capsule rated to 480 bar (6960 psi) with excellent stability and a linear
analogue output for the temperature range 0 150 deg C (32 - 302
deg F). The TP125 can be mounted independently or used in conjunction
with the CT range of flow meters and is available with BSP, NPT and SAE
threads. Please see the technical bulletins below for further information. To download a technical bulletin on the CT turbine flow meters, click here.
