DHCR1500R

Image of DHCR1500R

Webtec has the DHCR1500R test kit, a test solution designed for testing the very largest mobile machinery with a maximum theoretical power of over 1MW.

The test kit, designed in collaboration with a major US mobile machinery manufacturer, enables the operator to measure flow, pressure and temperature while simultaneously loading the system using the purpose built pressure loading valve. The HV1500 is designed to allow the operator to simulate the machine circuit under normal conditions by restricting the flow and, hence, increasing the pump's operating pressure.

Despite the large flows and pressures involved the valve can be operated with one hand and can be used to increase the load smoothly. The valve, like all Webtec HV series load valves, features a built-in safety burst disc safety mechanism to prevent over-pressurisation that could otherwise damage the test kit and circuit under test. Rated to a maximum of 1500 lpm and 420 bar with code 62 two inch fittings, the DHCR1500R test kit is available now.

Webtec's New Hydraulic Data Logger

Webtec has launched potentially the most powerful range of portable hydraulic data-loggers on the market at the recent Hannover Fair. The HPM6000 series is designed for the hydraulic service engineer who needs advanced diagnostic features that allow the user to easily measure and record many hydraulic parameters, store them, analyse them and quickly share the results with colleagues and customers. The HPM6000 is the latest addition to the HPM series of hydraulic data-loggers.

The HPM6000 series is available in three models, with the ability to simultaneously measure up to 48 channels e.g. hydraulic flow, pressure, temperature, shaft speed. These include 32 Intelligent Digital (ID/CAN) channels, 12 Sensor Recognition (SR) channels, 4 auxiliary analogue channels and in addition, 1 digital trigger.

The HPM6000 series rugged housing is rated to IP64, includes expandable memory via USB/SD card, fast on-board processing power, a 5.7” colour display and a host of different ways to display and analyse the data including numeric, bar graph, line graph, and dial.

For ultra-high-speed applications, two of the analogue inputs can be logged every 0.1 ms or for condition monitoring applications data can be recorded just once every 24 hours, with many options in between; overall the HPM6000 can store over a billion data points.

The HPM6000 includes both USB and Ethernet connectivity and comes with HPMComm 7.0, Microsoft Windows™ compatible analysis software as standard, that enables the user to both review test results from the HPM6000 or setup the device remotely.

Webtec launches new range of turbine flowmeters with CAN output for use with HPM series

Webtec Products Ltd is pleased to announce the release of a new range of CAN output hydraulic flow meters, part of the Intelligent Digital™ range, for use with the recently launched HPM6000 hydraulic data logger. The HPM6000 with Intelligent Digital™ sensors provide the engineer with a very powerful and rugged hydraulic fault-finding tool, ideal for diagnosing faults on complex construction and agricultural machinery.

The new range of 16 flow meters can be used to measure flows between 1 and 750 lpm (0.25 - 200 gpm) at pressures of up to 480 bar and, along with the existing CAN pressure transducers, offer a complete digital solution to hydraulic diagnostics.

When used with the HPM6000, up to 16 Intelligent Digital™ sensors can be connected in-line together for complex applications where high-speed data-logging at speeds of up to 1ms is the answer.

180 Series (Rotary directional control valve)

Image of 180 Series (Rotary directional control valve)

The updated design of the 180 series of directional control valves is due to be released in March 2012. This well known range of rotary spool valves, formerly supplied by Danfoss, has undergone a design review. The purpose of the new design is to help reduce lead times and enable a wider range of custom specials to be made, while ensuring 100% backwards compatibility with the fit and function of the existing design and retaining the proven seat sealing design.

Features • Pressure loaded seats working against optically flat rotors automatically compensated for valve wear to assure near zero leakage even after more than 500,000 cycles.

• Customer can select from numerous variations including 7 flow patterns, 3 flow ratings, 4 porting configurations, Straight or offset operating handles, spring centring and detents.

• Valves may be in-line, panel or manifold mounted.
