Acrobat Reader® and PDFs

About Adobe portable data format ('pdf')

It is often more convenient to download a technical document or a product bulletin onto your computer allowing you to study it at your leisure, rather than read it on the web. At Webtec we are actively converting much of our technical literature into portable data format (pdf). The format created by Adobe, allows anyone to view and print technical documents on their computer without influencing the layout, regardless of the platform they are using. All you need to view a 'pdf' file is a copy of Adobe Acrobat Reader® that you can download for free from the Adobe site. Once you have a copy of the programme you will find many instances where 'pdf' versions of technical literature and instruction manuals are available, both on and off the web.
